Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Bangalore, India

Department: Supply Chain

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analytics Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing supply chain data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize our operations. This role requires a strong analytical background, experience with data visualization tools, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data, including demand forecasts, inventory levels, production schedules, and supplier performance.
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, cost, and service levels.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of solutions to enhance supply chain operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and manufacturing, to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Assist in optimizing inventory management, demand planning, and production scheduling by leveraging analytical models and tools.
  • Risk Management: Analyze supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential disruptions.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide ad-hoc analytical support to the supply chain management team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in supply chain analytics, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI (or similar data visualization tools).

o Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain management software.

o Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and forecasting models.

  • Soft Skills:

o Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.

o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

o Master's degree in a related field.

o Experience in the battery energy storage industry or a similar high-tech manufacturing environment.

o Familiarity with advanced analytics tools such as Python, R, or machine learning algorithms.

o Experience with Reporting tools like Power Bi/Tableau
