Position Summary:

The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in cybersecurity services. The AE will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their security challenges and aligning them with AuthenticOne's solutions and expertise. This is a high-impact, client-facing role that requires strategic thinking, technical acumen, and excellent communication skills. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within assigned territories or verticals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including CISOs, CIOs, IT Directors, and Procurement teams.
  • Conduct consultative sales presentations to articulate the value of AuthenticOne's cybersecurity services, such as:
  • Strategy and Governance Services
  • Audit & Assessment Services
  • Advisory & Compliance Services
  • Managed Security Services
  • Collaborate with Presales, Marketing, and Delivery teams to craft tailored solutions and proposals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting to negotiation to contract closure.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Represent AuthenticOne at industry events, webinars, and trade shows to build brand awareness and thought leadership.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

Experience: 

  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity, IT services or SaaS.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and managing complex sales cycles.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling to enterprise or mid-market clients in Mumbai
  • High level understanding of cybersecurity solutions and services like GRC, VAPT, Red Teaming and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, DPDPA, SEBI CSCRF etc.
  • Existing relationships with IT or security decision-makers.
