Dear Design Engineers,

We are pleased to announce that Wolf 3D Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is currently looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a leading provider of Mechanical Engineering Solutions, we are seeking an individual who can handle our reverse engineering section.

The ideal candidate for this role can be a fresher or should have 1 to 2 years of experience in similar jobs and possess a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or a related field.

Job Title
: Mechanical Design Engineer—3D Scanning & Reverse Engineering.

Employment Type:

Experience:
Fresher or 1 to 2 years of experience in 3D scanning and 3D modelling is an advantage.

Qualifications:

  1. Fresher or 1 to 2 years of experience in 3D scanning and 3D modelling is an advantage.

  2. A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or a related field.

  3. One who is passionate about Operating a 3D scanner and creating detailed 3D models using licensed software like Geomagic, SolidWorks and Catia.

  4. Strong understanding of engineering technical drawings.

  5. Knowledge of 3D printing and rapid prototyping.

  6. Familiarity with rendering and visualization software.

  7. Excellent attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.

  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  9. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Handle a 3D scanner and create detailed 3D scanned data.

  2. Process and clean scanned data to remove any noise or errors, ensuring the scanned data is usable for 3D modelling.

  3. Perform designing and modelling on SolidWorks, Catia, or similar 3D modelling software.

  4. Produce technical drawings in 2D formats using related CAD software.

  5. Review and inspect all 3D models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.

  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest 3D scanning and modelling technologies, software updates, and industry trends.

  7. Carry out the scanning process at the client's side if required.
