Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Stone Procurement Controller located in Mumbai. The Stone Procurement Controller will be responsible for managing the procurement of precious and semi-precious stones, ensuring the quality and authenticity of stones, and maintaining vendor relationships. Daily tasks will include negotiating contracts, managing inventory levels, overseeing logistics, and coordinating with the design and manufacturing teams to meet production needs. The role also involves conducting market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing.

Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement and inventory management

  • Knowledge of precious and semi-precious stones

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

  • Ability to conduct market research and trend analysis

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

  • Experience in the jewelry or luxury goods industry is a plus
