About Gurujal

GuruJal, an Abhipsa Foundation initiative, aims to achieve water neutrality by designing and

implementing integrated, participatory and hyperlocal solutions for groundwater recharge and

management in arid and semi-arid regions of India. We have already rejuvenated 100+ ponds,

700+ rainwater harvesting structures and have enabled 827 million litres of groundwater

recharge per year. But this is just a drop in the ocean. With proven results of our 6R approach, we

are now looking for the next generation of leaders to 'grow with us' and 'Make India Water

Secure' within our lifetime.

Salary Range:

15-18 LPA (Depends on experience)

As Partnerships Lead (Funders), you will directly influence how GuruJal grows and sustains its

mission. In short, this role is the bridge between visionary solutions and the resources that make

them possible.

● Funding unlocks impact: Each new partnership translates into more villages served, more

communities trained, and more scientific water projects implemented.

● Partnerships amplify voice: Beyond money, you'll bring visibility, networks, and

credibility that allow GuruJal to shape the national water security discourse.

● Water security is urgent: India faces growing challenges of depleting aquifers, climate

stress, and inequitable access. Your work will enable concrete solutions.

What You'll Do?

The Partnerships Lead will expand GuruJal's financial and collaborative ecosystem with diverse

stakeholders such as Funders, Corporates, HNIs, Government, and the Civil society.

  1. Raising Funds for different solutions of GuruJal

  2. Diversifying Funders to other sources such as HNIs and Institutional Funders.

  3. Networking and Positioning in events and conferences.

  4. Relationship Management with the existing stakeholders

  5. Writing RFPs, Grants and awards on behalf of the organisation

What You'll Bring?

  1. Master's degree in Management, Development Studies, Public Policy, Sustainability, or

related fields

  1. Work experience of 7-10 years with expertise in Fundraising and Partnerships.

  2. Experience in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Canva/Adobe Illustrator)

  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
