Role & Responsibilities:
- Liaisoning & Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders within the Oil, Gas, Refinery, and Chemical industries. Build connections at various levels of private and public sector organizations.
- Achieving Sales Targets: Drive the achievement of business unit sales targets through focused business development strategies within the Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Chemical sectors.
- Expertise in Sector-Specific Services: Leverage strong knowledge of industry services, including Third-Party Inspection (TPI), safety audits, process safety assessments, certifications, and quality assurance, to drive business growth within these sectors.
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Generate high-quality leads and effectively convert them into secured business opportunities, ensuring the consistent growth of service contracts.
- Service Offering: Promote and sell specialized services such as inspections, audits, safety assessments, and certifications tailored to meet the requirements of Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Chemical industries.
- Empanelment & Registration: Manage the process of empanelment and registration for various services with key industry stakeholders and clients.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with clients during and after project completion, ensuring satisfaction, identifying future needs, and promoting ongoing service offerings.
- Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with technical teams to provide accurate and relevant technical inputs for client proposals, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Sales Strategy & Planning: Responsible for managing sales of up to 5-7 Crores from private-sector clients within the Oil, Gas, Refinery, and Chemical sectors, developing sales plans and strategies to meet business objectives.
- Industry Expertise: Proven experience in business development within the Oil, Gas, Refinery, and Chemical sectors, with a focus on services such as TPI, safety audits, process safety assessments, certifications, and quality assurance.
- Customer Relationship Management: Extensive experience in managing relationships with key players in Oil & Gas, Refining, and Chemical industries, including EPC companies, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of industry-specific requirements and standards for inspections, audits, process safety, NDT, and certifications related to the Oil, Gas, and Chemical sectors.
- Sales & Business Development: Demonstrated ability to generate leads, secure orders, and achieve sales targets within highly competitive markets. Experience handling sales cycles and negotiations for large projects.
- Market Insight: In-depth knowledge of customer needs, market trends, and the ongoing requirements for services in the Oil, Gas, Refinery, and Chemical sectors.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in business development within the Oil, Gas, Refinery, and Chemical sectors.
- Solid expertise in services like Third-Party Inspections (TPI), safety audits, certifications, and process safety.
- Ability to engage with senior management and technical teams in client organizations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a pipeline of large accounts and develop tailored sales strategies.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Industry Experience:
5-10 years in business development in Oil, Gas, Refinery, and Chemical sectors, with a focus on services like TPI, safety audits, process safety, and certifications. - Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of TPI, NDT, HSE, safety audits, and industry standards relevant to the Oil, Gas, and Chemical industries. - Sales & Business Development:
Proven track record in lead generation, sales (5-7 Crores annual), and customer relationship management with private industries and EPC companies. - Market Insight:
Knowledge of market trends, customer needs, and regulatory changes in the Oil, Gas, and Chemical sectors.
