Role Overview
As a Business Development Trainee, you will be responsible for supporting our client acquisition and relationship management efforts in the staffing and recruitment domain. This is an entry-level role ideal for fresh graduates or those looking to start their career in sales & business development within the HR industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients in target industries for staffing and recruitment services.
- Assist in generating leads through calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
- Support senior business development managers in preparing proposals, presentations, and service pitches.
- Maintain and update the client database with accurate information.
- Coordinate with the recruitment team to understand service capabilities and hiring pipelines.
- Help manage follow-ups with prospective clients to schedule meetings and demos.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, HR, Marketing, or any related field (Freshers are welcome).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in sales, business development, and the staffing/recruitment industry.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and eager to grow.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Knowledge of recruitment/staffing processes.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or CRM tools.
- Internship or academic project experience in sales/HR/marketing.
