Job Description-   Role-Sourcing Engineer
Location-Pune
Experience-3 to 6 years
Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing supply chain of all bought-out items
  • Keep track of all ongoing open POs with vendors
  • To get manufacturing updates regularly from various suppliers
  • Visit vendor's workshops time to time, to verify physical progress
  • Arrange scheduled regular follow-up with vendors (physical /virtual) and record updates
  • Keep reports ready with forecast of completion of all open POs.
  • Should be able to take regular updates /dumps from ERP system (POLS), identify newly raised POs
  • Should be able to draw up project-wise reports of open POs, indicating material availability date
  • Identify any probable delays in supply chain, and raise them to management along with any corrective actions to mitigate delays

PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Systematic, well organized and meticulous in his/her work
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, should be able to handle multiple communications with various vendors
  • Prepared to work within demanding production environment
  • Undisputed business ethics vs supplier & adhere to "Business Code of Practice".

KNOWLEDGE/ EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
  • University engineering degree in relevant field (BE)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
  • Min 3-5 years' experience in supply chain/ material planning /production / Project environment
  • Good understanding of various manufacturing processes
  • Fluent in English, Hindi & Marathi
  • Should be very good in preparing excel reports / tables
