As a Team Leader, you will provide line management and leadership for a team of 6-8 Sourcers, including role support and pastoral support to ensure they are meeting their relevant targets, KPIs and quality thresholds to drive value for the client and for AMS.
Key AccountabilitiesWhat you'll be doing:
- Deep Sourcing/Recruiting expertise with extensive experience of proactive sourcing techniques and strategies. (IT and Non-IT hiring)
- Extensive experience working with various platforms and technologies as part of the recruitment process including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, Google X-ray search.
- Managing a team of diverse individuals setting them up for success and enabling them to grow their careers
Setting clear objectives and having regular quality conversations (weekly 121s) to discuss individual performance, development and wellbeing.
Talent champion – training, coaching & advising your team to build its technical and strategic capability. Ensuring development plans in place for each member of the team and discussed regularly.
- Recognizing and rewarding growth, promoting talent and addressing underperformance.
Confident and articulate when communicating with stakeholders at a senior level. Able to handle objections and difficult conversations and influence outcomes positively.
Experience coaching/mentoring with a demonstrable passion for developing people.
- Highly organized and enjoy working in dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Comfortable managing competing projects, priorities and deadlines requiring collaboration with senior colleagues.
- Proactively leading the team to think strategically and adapt to changes and new initiatives, seeing challenges as an opportunity.
- Subject matter expert, providing support to the team to develop bespoke, targeted sourcing plans and ensuring that they are able to bring insights driven solutions to recruitment challenges. Helping them to challenge barriers to success. When required, providing support at recruitment discussions and briefings.
- Maintain accuracy in reporting and tracking to drive accountability, manage capacity & identify areas of improvement and strong performance. Recognizing core trends that might drive change.
You'll need to demonstrate:
- Previous experience managing people, creating development plans, conducting talent reviews, ensuring succession plans are in place.
- Previous experience managing a team against Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements, managing workload and capacity to deliver through others
- Experienced in the management and development of both under and over-performers
- Previous experience reviewing and developing processes and training to support overall team development and performance.
- Experienced in analysis of a function and development of plans to create and/or bring about improvement of whole of team capability.
- Knowledge of labour law across various jurisdictions.
