Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes (e.g., stir-fries, dim sum, noodles, soups, dumplings).
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the senior chefs.
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and mise en place.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to hygiene and safety standards (HACCP).
  • Store food in proper containers, ensuring proper labeling and rotation (FIFO method).
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely food service.
  • Follow all kitchen policies and procedures.

Education & Experience:

  • Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or relevant training.
  • Commis I: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Chinese cuisine.
  • Commis II: Minimum 1 year of experience or culinary training with practical exposure.

Skills:Skills:

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Chinese cooking methods (wok, steaming, deep-frying, etc.).
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
