Role Description
- We are looking for a Content & Social Media Specialist with at least
2+ years of experience
to craft content like blogs for SEO and engagement, ad copies, email copies and impactful stories for engaging campaigns for XO Bestie. In this role, you'll create brand-aligned content across blogs, product descriptions, emails, landing pages, and social media posts—while also scripting influencer Reels and collaborating with designers to bring visuals, graphics, and videos to life. Every piece of content should reflect XO Bestie's values system and vision. - On the social media side, you'll plan, schedule, and manage content across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, and more, while tracking analytics to optimize performance. You'll also stay on top of market trends, experimenting with content that resonates and drives engagement. Beyond awareness, you'll design targeted email, in-app, and retargeting campaigns to re-engage users and support sales with conversion-focused promotions.
- This is a cross-functional role where you'll manage content calendars, influencer briefs, and partnerships, ensuring our brand voice stays consistent while delivering measurable results.
-Content Creation & Social Media Management
- Write engaging, brand-aligned content for blogs, product descriptions, emails, landing pages, and social media posts.
- Make scripts for Influencer reels.
- Collaborate with designers to produce high-quality visuals, graphics, and video creatives.
- Ensure all content reflects XO Bestie's values of empowerment, sustainability, and community.
-Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Plan, create, and schedule content across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and more.
- Track performance by using analytics to improve reach and engagement.
- Stay up to date with latest market trends and also assist in creating content that trends.
- Create targeted campaigns (email, in-app, retargeting) to re-engage and retain users.
- Work closely with the sales team to design promotions that drive conversions.
-Cross-Functional Collaboration-
- Manage social media calendars and content workflows.
- Support influencer and partnership campaigns with creative briefs and performance tracking.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the PR industry will be preferable.
- Canva/Photoshop basics, influencer marketing coordination, and community engagement.
Must Haves
- Content Writing & Storytelling – Ability to write engaging, brand-aligned copy for blogs, emails, product descriptions, and social media.
- Social Media Management – Hands-on experience with Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest, including scheduling and analytics.
- Creativity in Short-Form Content – Skill in scripting and ideating influencer-style Reels, trending posts, and viral content.
- Collaboration with Designers/Video Teams – Strong understanding of visuals, graphics, and video content workflows.
- Campaign Management – Experience with email, in-app, and retargeting campaigns for user retention and re-engagement.
- Analytics & Optimization – Ability to track performance metrics, draw insights, and refine content strategies.
- Trend Spotting – Staying ahead with market and cultural trends to create relevant, shareable content.
- Project & Calendar Management – Organized approach to handling social media calendars, influencer briefs, and promotions.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams like marketing, sales and designer are a must to generate content that trends for multiple platforms like Instagram.
