Graduation -B. Com,

MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Equity Research & Analysis:

  2. Conduct detailed fundamental analysis of publicly listed companies.

  3. Study financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).

  4. Forecast earnings and valuations (using models like DCF, P/E, EV/EBITDA).

  5. Market Monitoring:

  6. Track stock market movements, global economic indicators, and relevant news.

  7. Analyze macroeconomic trends and their impact on sector/stock performance.

  8. Industry & Sector Research:

  9. Conduct sector-specific research (e.g., technology, pharma, auto).

  10. Identify key growth drivers, risks, and competitive dynamics.

  11. Report Writing & Recommendations:

  12. Prepare detailed stock research reports with BUY/SELL/HOLD recommendations.

  13. Provide investment rationales, target prices, and risk assessments.

  14. Data & Tools:

  15. Use Bloomberg, Reuters, Excel, or other financial tools to extract and analyze data.

  16. Build and maintain financial models.

  17. Client & Team Interaction:

  18. Present analysis to fund managers, senior analysts, or clients.

  19. Collaborate with team members on investment ideas and strategies.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets and instruments
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail and strong critical thinking
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field
  • MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA preferred
  • 10-15 Years of experience in equity research, Investment analysis, or a similar role

Preferred Tools & Software:

  • Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint
  • Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, Capital IQ
  • Python/R (optional but a plus for quant analysis)
