Product Manager

Role Description

• As a Product Manager for Analytics and Automation Platforms, integrated into our clients product management team, your primary responsibility will be to develop strategies, create roadmaps, and drive the implementation of our clients analytics and automation platforms for our infrastructure security and application delivery solutions
• Our client is a US based firm that is a leader in infrastructure security and application delivery solutions
• The largest service providers, hyperscalers, and enterprises rely on our clients hardware and software solutions to manage production traffic
• You should be capable of maintaining a thorough understanding of our clients technology, market trends, and customer/prospect needs
• Effective communication skills are essential for both internal and external interactions
• Internally, the candidate will convey requirements to engineering teams by defining epics and user stories with clear prioritization
• The Product Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining the product roadmap with a 1 to 3 years outlook
• Externally, the Product Manager will interact with sales teams and customers to understand their needs, articulate the benefits of our clients solution, provide high-level guidance on the solution's capabilities, and gather feedback and feature requests as necessary

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy to enhance our analytics, device lifecycle management and automation capabilities as SaaS and on-prem offerings
• Define short-term and longterm goals aligned with business objectives and clients corporate priorities
• Collaborate with customers and sales teams to understand customer needs and pain points and gather requirements for new features and enhancements
• Clearly define user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics to guide development efforts
• Create and manage the product vision and roadmap for both short-term and long-term outlook, prioritize features, enhancements, and initiatives based on customer feedback, market trends, and business priorities
• Work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable development plans
• Provide clear direction and guidance throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features
• Partner with the product marketing team to develop go-to-market (GTM) plans, product collateral, and marketing campaigns for product launches
• Support the sales team with customer engagement and roadmap presentations
• Gathering feedback from our customers to continuously improve product offerings
• Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and prioritize initiatives to address customer pain points
• Define performance metrics to track the success of product offerings and feature sets
• Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and improvement

Technical Skills

Skills Requirements:

• Strong understanding of product management principles and methodologies.
• Ability to develop and execute product strategy and roadmaps.
• Experience in market research, customer needs analysis, and competitive analysis.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Must understand the company's long-term vision and align with it.
• Should be able to identify problems, generate effective solutions, and troubleshoot issues that may arise while working on complex projects.
• Must Display Adaptability to changing circumstances, new technology, and shifting priorities.

Qualifications

• 11-12 years of work experience in relevant field
• B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
