Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Thrissur. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and tax compliance. The role also includes preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements, conducting variance analysis, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations and internal control procedures. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for decision-making processes.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Strong knowledge of GST and TDS filing
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting variance analysis
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
