Role Overview
The Sales & Marketing Executive will handle offline sales operations along with supporting D2C marketing activities. This role requires a mix of field sales, retail coordination, brand promotion, and understanding of D2C platforms. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building retailer relationships, executing marketing activities, and supporting online brand communication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Offline Sales (Primary & Secondary Sales)
- Identify and onboard new retail outlets, distributors, and channel partners.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and ensure proper product placement.
- Conduct market visits to track availability, visibility, and competition.
- Build strong relationships with retailers and distributors.
- Handle order bookings, follow-ups, and collection as per company norms.
2. Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Execute on-ground marketing campaigns, sampling activities, and promotions.
- Coordinate POSM (posters, standees, branding material) distribution in retail outlets.
- Work closely with the marketing team for product launches and offline visibility.
- Collect market insights and share feedback for product improvement.
3. D2C Marketing Support
- Coordinate with the D2C/e-commerce team for product photoshoots, content, and listings.
- Support digital campaigns by collecting customer reviews and UGC content from the market.
- Provide insights on retail consumer behavior for online campaigns.
- Assist in planning offline-to-online promotions and events.
4. Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain daily sales reports, beat plans, and market activity sheets.
- Share weekly and monthly performance updates.
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and operations for inventory and dispatch.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related fields.
- 2–6 years of experience in Sales & Marketing (FMCG, Retail, D2C preferred).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Basic understanding of D2C marketing, online sales trends, and consumer behavior.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
- Ability to work in a field-driven, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in FMCG, beauty, wellness, personal care, or consumer products.
- Knowledge of D2C platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Website management).
- Basic understanding of digital marketing (Meta Ads, Google Ads, CRM).
