Work Details

Working Days: Monday to Friday, 2nd and 4th Saturdays

Week Off: Sundays, 1st and 3rd Saturdays

Location: Andheri East, Mumbai (2 minutes' walk from the railway station)

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated
Junior Accountant
to support our daily accounting and finance operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in finance within a vibrant and educational environment.

Experience & Qualification

  • Experience:
    1–2 years of accounting experience preferred
  • Education:
    Graduate in Commerce or a related field
  • Gender:
    Open to all

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare Quotations, Work Orders, Proforma Invoices, and Tax Invoices.
  • Prepare and issue student fee receipts and follow up with students/parents for pending payments.
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding payments.
  • Prepare Cheques, NEFT, and RTGS payments.
  • Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records (Sales, Receipts, Journal, Payments, and Expenses) in
    Tally
    .
  • Reconcile bank statements, prepare Cash and Cheque Vouchers, and record Cash Entries.
  • Record and track Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing work for all statutory obligations.

Statutory Compliance Responsibilities

  • Working knowledge of
    GST
    (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B).
  • Understanding of
    TDS
    (Sections and applicable deduction limits).
  • Assist in ensuring timely and accurate filing of statutory returns.

Other Duties

  • Provide support to the
    Senior Accountant
    and the broader
    Finance Team
    as needed.
  • Assist in audits, financial reporting, and internal documentation.
