Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Faridabad for a Surface Grinder Operator. The Surface Grinder Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating surface grinding machines to produce precision metal parts. Day-to-day tasks include reading blueprints, selecting appropriate grinding wheels, monitoring machine operations, and inspecting finished products for quality and conformance to specifications. The operator will also be required to perform routine maintenance on the grinding machines and ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in operating surface grinding machines and other related machinery
  • Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of selecting, installing, and using grinding wheels
  • Ability to monitor machine operations and inspect finished products for quality
  • Skills in performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting machinery issues
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality precision parts
  • Physical stamina and manual dexterity to operate machinery efficiently
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining or a related field is a plus
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry is beneficial
