Role & responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle accounting for UK-based clients using Xero software.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.
  • Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and regulations.
  • Liaise with clients for financial queries, audits, and reporting requirements.
  • Process payroll and maintain VAT returns for UK clients.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Provide financial insights and support for business decisions.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience: 2-5 years in accounting, specifically for UK clients.
  • Software: Hands-on experience with Xero and MS Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and VAT regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & spoken English).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
