Internship Overview

The AI Internship at Agrim HFC offers hands-on experience applying artificial intelligence and machine learning in the financial services sector, with a focus on housing finance. The intern will work on real-world AI projects that improve fraud detection, document processing, customer analytics, and regulatory compliance support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and testing AI/ML models for fraud detection and risk assessment specific to affordable housing finance.
  • Analyze large datasets, including transaction, loan, and customer data, to extract actionable insights using data science techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, credit, and technology to identify AI use cases.
  • Support automation solutions such as document verification and anomaly detection.
  • Participate in research on emerging AI trends in financial services and housing finance.
  • Prepare documentation and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms, data preprocessing, and evaluation metrics.
  • Interest or background in financial services, housing finance, or regulatory compliance is a plus.
  • Good analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
