About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Core ABAP Developer with expertise in OOABAP, OData, RAP, Fiori, and QMATES to join our development team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on coding experience and the ability to build scalable SAP applications, integrate with Fiori/UI5, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using Core ABAP and OOABAP.
  • Build and expose OData services to support SAP Fiori and UI5 applications.
  • Collaborate with functional and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop CDS views and leverage RAP framework for modern ABAP development.
  • Optimize and enhance ABAP programs for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Utilize QMATES or similar tools to ensure quality and development efficiency.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
  • Provide technical support for application development and integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in SAP Core ABAP and OOABAP programming.
  • Hands-on experience in OData services, RAP, CDS views, and Fiori/UI5 integration.
  • Practical experience with SQL scripting and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of QMATES or equivalent SAP development tools (preferred).
  • Ability to write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • SAP ABAP certification or equivalent credentials (preferred).
