At Revfin, we are building Indias largest lending company. Through our award winning and innovative digital platform, we provide loans to people at the bottom of the pyramid. Our typical customer lives in Tier 2 or 3 towns, has no credit history, a very low level of education and no banking transactions. We underwrite loans using revolutionary techniques like psychometrics, biometrics and gamification. The entire loan application journey is delivered digitally through an App.

We have a clear focus on financing commercial electric vehicles including E-2W, E-3W, E-4W, LCV and HCV, for individual drivers, helping in mass scale adoption of electric vehicles. In this business, we provide loans for vehicles and lease vehicles to fleet operators who operate mid-mile and last-mile deliveries and taxi services, including quick comm and e-commerce. All vehicles financed by us have telematics which help drivers track and improve their productivity while keeping their vehicles secure.

We partner with manufacturers, dealers, fleet operators and e-commerce companies to acquire customers, providing point of sale finance.

We provide loans through our own NBFC as well as through multiple lending partners.

Role Overview:

Revfin is seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager (EM) to lead and scale our technology team in the rapidly evolving fintech and lending ecosystem. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven leadership skills to drive the development of secure, scalable, and innovative digital lending solutions aligned with NBFC-grade reliability and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Leadership

• Own and evolve the technical architecture of Revfin's lending and credit platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across all digital products.
• Lead decision-making on architecture, frameworks, and cloud infrastructure to support NBFC operations, loan management systems, and integrations with partners such as credit bureaus, payment gateways, and eKYC providers.
• Evaluate and implement modern technologies for improved automation, analytics, and customer experience.

2. People & Process Management

• Manage the technology team's day-to-day activities, including sprint planning, code reviews, and performance management.
• Coach and mentor engineers, fostering a high-performance, ownership-driven, and collaborative culture.
• Establish and enforce best practices in software development, testing, deployment, and documentation.

3. Product Collaboration

• Partner closely with Product Managers to translate business and product requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Balance short-term product delivery goals with long-term architectural vision and scalability.
• Contribute to roadmap discussions and ensure timely delivery of milestones with cross-functional teams.

4. Governance, Security & Compliance

• Ensure that all systems meet compliance and regulatory requirements aligned with RBI and NBFC norms.
• Implement and monitor data security, privacy, and audit controls across applications and infrastructure.
• Partner with business and risk teams to support audit readiness and technology compliance initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of software development experience, including at least 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Strong understanding of fintech, digital lending, and NBFC business models.
• Proven experience with loan origination systems (LOS), loan management systems (LMS), and related integrations (KYC, bureau APIs, payment systems, etc.).
• Proficiency in modern web and backend stacks - e.g., , Java, Python, React, AWS, or equivalent cloud-native technologies.
• Strong grasp of microservices architecture, DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and scalable system design.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
