What you'll own

  • Backend architecture:
    Design, build, and maintain highly scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems.
  • API design & integrations:
    Develop APIs and microservices that power real-time AI conversations and integrations with third-party platforms.
  • Data flow & performance:
    Ensure efficient data modeling, storage, and retrieval for high-volume chat and analytics workloads.
  • System reliability:
    Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain uptime and performance SLAs.
  • Scaling the platform:
    Optimize for concurrency, distributed processing, and low-latency interactions as we onboard global enterprise customers.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with frontend, AI/ML, and product teams to deliver seamless features end-to-end.

You should have

  • 3+ years of backend engineering experience, preferably in SaaS or high-scale environments.
  • Strong command of
  • Deep understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL), caching, and queue systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with designing secure, resilient APIs and microservices.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills — you thrive on tackling complex technical challenges.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment and take full ownership of outcomes.
