About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SCADA / Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in GE iFIX, Cimplicity, and GE PLC platforms. This is a site-centric role involving installation, configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and remote support for industrial automation systems.

Candidates must have strong practical exposure to GE 90/30 or Rx3i PLCs, and good understanding of communication protocols and multisystem SCADA environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of GE iFIX and Cimplicity SCADA systems
  • Installation & commissioning of GE PLCs (90/30, Rx3i)
  • Preparation of BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation
  • SCADAPLC integration and testing
  • Experience in communication protocols like Modbus, TCP/IP
  • Basic understanding of Siemens and Rockwell PLC/SCADA systems (remote support capability)
  • On-site support during commissioning and maintenance activities
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients for smooth execution
  • Provide remote troubleshooting assistance when required
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and compliance records

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in Industrial Automation / SCADA / Control Systems
  • Hands-on experience in GE iFIX and Cimplicity SCADA
  • Strong experience with GE PLCs 90/30, Rx3i
  • Understanding of industrial communication (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, TCP/IP)

  • Basic working knowledge of:

  • Siemens PLCs

  • Rockwell PLCs

  • Ability to handle client sites independently

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel

Good to Have

  • Experience in process plants like Water Treatment, Power, Utilities, Oil & Gas, FMCG
  • Knowledge of industrial networks and cybersecurity basics
  • Experience working with EPC contractors or automation system integrators

Education

  • BE / BTech / Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or related technical fields
