Deputy Vice President Cyber Advisory

Basic Qualifications (Mandatory)

  • BE/ BTech degree in any discipline from a University/Institution/Board recognized by Govt. of India / approved by Govt. Regulatory bodies OR
  • MCA / ME / MTech / MSc in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution/Board.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology.
  • Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, PMP, MBA (Technology Management).

Experience

Mandatory:

  • 12+ years of overall professional experience, with at least 8–10 years in Cyber Advisory roles.

Preferred:

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity advisory functions, aligning with domestic and global security standards and BFSI sector–centric business models.
  • Cybersecurity roles in IT companies, BFSI institutions, government cybersecurity programs, consulting firms, or innovation hubs.
  • Hands-on exposure to Information Security, Cyber Policy, Innovation, Cyber Defense, or related domains.
  • Experience in setting up or working in a Centre of Excellence (CoE).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the Cyber Advisory function, providing strategic guidance to stakeholders across business and technology domains.
  • Develop and deliver advisory reports based on emerging cyber threats, research insights, and global trends.
  • Continuously track, assess, and interpret global threat landscape changes to provide actionable intelligence.
  • Establish frameworks to ensure the advisory function is aligned with business models, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, ensuring advisory outputs are practical, timely, and business-relevant.
  • Manage cybersecurity researchers and advisory teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality outputs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provide expertise on cybersecurity technologies, advanced threat analytics, and market developments.
  • Promote a culture of strategic thinking, innovation, and continuous improvement within the advisory function.
  • Support business continuity and organizational resilience through proactive cyber advisory interventions.
  • Contribute to Centre of Excellence initiatives, building knowledge repositories and disseminating insights.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with proven ability to head cyber advisory or consulting functions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in global cybersecurity standards, threat analytics, and market intelligence.
  • Ability to translate technical threat research into actionable business advisories for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Experience in team leadership, resource management, and research program governance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage executives, regulators, and industry partners.
  • Strong understanding of advanced cybersecurity trends and their implications on BFSI and allied sectors.
  • Analytical mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while driving innovation and delivering results.
