Role Overview

As a Business Development Associate at AenexzTech, you will play a key role in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, and supporting the sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure. You will work closely with our sales, marketing and product teams to ensure we meet our revenue and growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify new industries, sectors, and potential clients that align with AenexzTech's technology solutions.
  • Generate and qualify leads through outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn), inbound enquiries, and networking.
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their pain points, business needs, and decision-making process; position AenexzTech's products/solutions accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design and execute campaigns, webinars, or events to drive lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, leads, pipeline, and interactions in the CRM system. Apna+1
  • Prepare proposals, presentations and demos in coordination with product and technical teams.
  • Support senior business development executives during negotiations and deal closure.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends and provide insights to help shape business strategy.
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for qualified leads, meetings scheduled, and conversions into opportunities.
  • Foster long-term relationships with prospects to enable repeat business and referrals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing role ideally in a technology / SaaS environment (freshers with strong drive may also be considered).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident in phone and video engagement.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities and build pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Sheets; familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Good understanding of technology (software, cloud, AI) and ability to articulate value to business stakeholders.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and proactive in learning and refining sales techniques.
