Position Overview:

The Commercial Project Management Head for the COS (Commercial Services) Business will be responsible for overseeing commercial and financial aspects of projects, ensuring compliance, profitability, and operational efficiency. This leadership role requires a strategic problem solver with strong financial competence, risk management expertise, and strong people skills to drive the integration and development of the organization.

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement commercial strategies for project execution, aligning financial objectives with business goals.
  • Productivity Management: Identify, manage and deliver productivity topics for COS CPM globally.
  • Development of digital products: Supervise and manage the development of CPM-related digital offerings and data-based products for COS CPM globally.
  • Project Financial Management: Supervise budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for COS projects, ensuring cost control and profitability.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and contractual obligations, mitigating commercial risks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external customers, including senior management, finance teams, and project managers, to drive commercial success.
  • Customer Centricity: Be the key contact for our Indian customers, ensure customer satisfaction and jointly drive the development of new offerings to our customers.
  • Process Optimization: Streamline commercial project management processes, demonstrating digital tools and automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with legal and financial standards.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Build and mentor a high-performing commercial project management team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous development.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish benchmarks, track financial performance, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience in finance, Business, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience preferred. CPM certification will be preferred.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in commercial project management, preferably in business commercial or financial services environment.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, risk management, and contract negotiations.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of driving commercial success.
  • Experience in leading, managing, and developing teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in PMI preferred to foster the integration and development of a joint culture for the newly formed entity
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, financial modelling, and digital tools for project management
