Department: Growth & Field Operations

Location: North East (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura, Meghalaya)

Reports to: Regional Manager (RM)

Employment Type: Full-time (with performance-based incentives)

Role Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding Zuvy's presence in local markets by identifying, onboarding, and nurturing partnerships with retailers, distributors, and vendors. You'll play a key role in driving sales growth, developing strategies for market penetration, and representing Zuvy at the grassroots level.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and onboard local market vendors, kirana stores, and small businesses to join the Zuvy platform.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet business targets and revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors to enhance market presence.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to plan and execute local promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure smooth execution of business deals, partner satisfaction, and continuous engagement.
  • Monitor and report sales performance, regional growth, and potential opportunities.
  • Train and guide field executives or sales representatives in your assigned territory.
  • Represent Zuvy at local events, exhibitions, and market visits to promote brand awareness.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or any graduate having a well experienced in Sales.
  • 5–10 years of experience in Sales / Business Development / FMCG / Retail / E-commerce sectors.
  • Strong understanding of local markets, bazars, and retail networks.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, lead teams, and achieve ambitious targets.
  • Passion for connecting traditional businesses with digital opportunities.
