Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our RCM team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of U.S. healthcare billing procedures, insurance claims, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and denial management. You'll play a key role in ensuring clean claim submissions and timely reimbursements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers).
  • Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness; obtain any missing information.
  • Perform follow-ups on unpaid or denied claims and work towards resolution.
  • Understand EOBs, ERAs, and reconcile payment posting.
  • Work closely with coding teams to ensure correct diagnosis and procedure codes.
  • Handle claim corrections, re-submissions, and appeals as necessary.
  • Maintain and update patient billing records and adhere to HIPAA and compliance regulations.
  • Communicate with U.S.-based clients and insurance companies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, life sciences, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in U.S. medical billing or RCM.
  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes, and insurance guidelines.
  • Familiarity with clearinghouses and billing software (e.g., Kareo, AdvancedMD, Athena, eClinicalWorks, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to work U.S. night shifts.

Preferred:

  • Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or similar credential (optional but an advantage).
  • Experience in specialties such as radiology, cardiology, or orthopedics.
