**Snapscale** is seeking AAPC-certified medical billing/coding specialists for a US-based company working for Physical Therapy offices. Applicants must have 5+ years of RCM and Tebra/WebPT experience.

**Hours**:Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST

**Salary**:B_ased on experience_

**Duties**: The functions of the Medical Billing Specialist include:

- Submit claims out of our EMR in conjunction with the supervision from a Senior Medical Billing & RCM Manager.
- Process payments through a payment portal for all copays, co-insurance, and outstanding patient responsibility.
- Process ERAs and post payments to patient accounts as applicable.
- Follow up on all "NO RESPONSE" claim status.
- Re-submit claims as necessary.
- Process and upload any information from E-Bridge Software
- Follow up on claims with missing payment.
- Follow up with insurance on denials in coordination with the manager to ensure all claims are reprocessed appropriately.
- Data entry as needed to ensure all records are accurate processed and the EMR is up-to-date at all times.
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and coding guidelines to accurately code claims
- Verify patient insurance coverage based on denial codes
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to resolve coding and billing
- Coordinate follow up actions related to medical billing as assigned by the Senior Medical Billing & RCM Manager.

**Requirements**:

- Five years of direct RCM (required)
- Expertise in WebPT and Tebra (required)
- Certified Medical Biller by AAPC (required)
- Ability to speak and write English proficiently.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Self-motivated and comfortable providing feedback
- Open to learning.
- Takes initiative.
- Happy and helpful by nature.
