We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President - Analytics and Relationship Management Lead

Principal responsibilities

The VP - Analytics & Relationship Mngt Lead to;

The role will involve frequent liaison with a large range of stakeholders including: 

Global Businesses & Global Functions COOTPROSecond Line of Defence (2LoD)Group Operations Executives and Regional ForumsBusinesses BRCM, RMMProcurement stakeholdersTPEMs, Risk Domains and Risk StewardsInternal Audit and External Auditors / Local regulators liaison / engagementSets and executes a plan to deliver data management in line with Global Hub requirementsLead a team of data experts to ensure that the teams objectives are metEnsure that the data team resource has the capacity and skills to meet demand, including identifying and supporting development and trainingProvide opportunities to continuously improve and optimize the capabilities of the Hub by extensively reviewing and improving existing processes through the use of data and insightsSupport the effective execution of change within the HubProvides the leadership team with data that gives confidence in the delivery of quality and service in line with Hub commitments and obligationsWhere relevant, lead the resolution of findings identified through HSBC internal control auditsManagement and completion of agreed changes to frameworks operated across the HUBsWorking with the leadership team to identifying development needs and provide ongoing trainingReview of analysis, MI and reporting produced by the Global Hub MI team. Drawing out key themes, trends or risks that could both positively or negatively affect the achievement of HSBC's organisational objectivesLeads and manages initiatives to embed and maintain a culture where good data management and quality practices prevailEnsure data practices comply with regulations of all locationsEnsure good practices in the management of data tools, standards, frameworks and templatesTrack adherence to policies, frameworks and tooling associated to Data Governance and Data QualityGovern relationships between data elements across different systems

Qualifications

Experienced managing senior level relationshipsExperience within a third party management role preferably within financial servicesStrong people manager that has experience of achieving great outcomes through a team of very technical resourcesPrior experience in data analytics, MI, reporting and the communication of such to business and senior stakeholdersPrior experience in identifying and creating a framework for continuous technical learningPrior Third Party Risk Management related operational risk experience with a financial institution or at a regulatory agency or major consulting firmA good understanding and experience of the Global Businesses and Global Functions within a Bank.Prior experience of working across 1 or more Risk Domains, is desirable (providing support and guidance to business functions);Resilience Risk,People Risk,Legal Risk,Financial Crime and Fraud Risk,Financial Reporting and Tax Risk,Regulatory Compliance Risk,Strategic Risk,Model Risk
