Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Manager - Technology to oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend and frontend development, API integrations, databases, and CI/CD processes. They will play a key role in optimizing technology solutions to support SEEDs business operations and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Development & Deployment: Lead the development of scalable web applications, ensuring high performance and security.
  • Backend & Frontend Management: Design, develop, and maintain both backend (PHP, Python, , etc.) and frontend (React, Angular, ) components.
  • API Development & Integration: Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless integration with internal and third-party systems.
  • Database Management: Design, optimize, and manage SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • CI/CD Implementation: Develop and manage automated CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for hosting and scaling applications.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure robust security practices, data privacy, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify and resolve technical issues, optimize system performance, and enhance application efficiency.
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, APIs, databases, and processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product management, to align technology solutions with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in software development and technology management.

  • Hands-on experience in backend and frontend technologies.
  • Proven expertise in API development and integrations.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in backend languages: PHP, Python, , etc.

  • Proficiency in frontend frameworks: React, Angular,
  • Strong experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Firebase) databases.
  • Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

  • Strong understanding of security best practices.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Skilled in guiding teams through complex projects and achieving key milestones.

  • Certifications: Preferred certifications in cloud computing, DevOps, or software development.
