Role Summary:

The Planning & Budgeting Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking across multiple real estate projects. The role ensures optimal allocation of resources, effective cost management, and timely reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Develop and manage annual and project-specific budgets in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare detailed forecasts and cash flow projections for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Monitor budget utilization, highlight variances, and propose corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, finance, and operations teams to ensure financial discipline.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis, scenario planning, and risk assessment for investment and development decisions.
  • Track project costs against budget and provide regular variance analysis reports.
  • Support management in strategic decisions through insights from financial data and KPIs.

Reporting & Controls

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports for management review.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain data integrity and assist in audits and statutory reporting.

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Implement tools, dashboards, and processes to streamline planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Introduce best practices in project cost control and financial governance.
  • Support SAP / ERP implementation or optimization for project finance modules.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • NICMAR graduates are preferred.

-7–12 years of experience in planning, budgeting, and financial analysis in real estate or construction projects.

  • Strong knowledge of real estate project economics, cost structures, and financial modelling

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP / SAP systems, and reporting tools.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
