Job Summary:
Medcity International Academy is seeking a results-driven and proactive Business Development Executive to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth for our banking clients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales, customer engagement, and relationship building, with a strong focus on Gold Loan sales. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in Gold Loan sales.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
Identify and connect with potential clients through field visits, calls, referrals, and digital channels.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with individual and business clients.
Understand client financial needs and recommend suitable banking solutions
Sales & Product Promotion:
Promote a variety of banking products including Gold Loans, savings/current accounts, fixed deposits, credit cards, and insurance.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to branch revenue goals.
- Cross-sell and upsell products based on client profiles and financial requirements.
3. Lead Generation & Market Expansion:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Participate in local marketing initiatives, events, and promotional campaigns to increase visibility and generate leads.
- Maintain an updated database of leads and follow up regularly to convert prospects into clients.
4. Customer Support & Onboarding:
- Assist clients with account opening, loan applications, and documentation.
- Coordinate with operations and documentation teams for smooth onboarding.
- Ensure timely resolution of client queries and maintain high service standards.
5. Reporting & Coordination:
- Maintain daily records of activities, leads, and conversions.
- Prepare regular updates and reports for the branch manager or business development head.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service execution.
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, particularly Gold Loans, and customer financial needs.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Qualifications:
- Plus Two or Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 1 year of Gold Loan sales experience (mandatory).
