Job Summary :

Altudo is seeking a highly seasoned Principal Architect with 10 years of experience to serve as the India-based technical and operational lead within the Chief Architects Office (CAO). This pivotal role acts as the Chief Architects operational right hand during IST hours, demanding a sophisticated blend of executive leadership, deep technical mastery, and strategic execution.

The architect will be responsible for ensuring architectural excellence across the region, mentoring senior teams, driving strategic initiatives centered on composable architectures and AI/automation-driven transformation, and translating real-time incident escalations into long-term, sustainable improvements.

Job Description :

Architectural Leadership and Global Governance :

- Act as the Chief Architects operational partner, providing extended architectural leadership and ensuring seamless global continuity, effective decision-making, and strict alignment with global standards during IST hours.

- Provide comprehensive architectural oversight and guidance across multiple regional projects, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class technical quality, scalability, and adherence to established frameworks.

- Execute strategic initiatives that systematically strengthen Altudos architectural capability, including developing future-facing frameworks, AI-driven accelerators, and platform standardization across the regional portfolio.

- Partner with cross-functional leaders to strategically influence technology roadmaps, optimize solution design, and drive measurable customer success outcomes.

Solution Design and Technical Expertise :

- Apply deep technical expertise in Headless CMS, Cloud & DevOps, composable DXP architectures, and AI/automation-driven transformation to design and implement scalable, future-ready digital solutions.

- Lead client discovery and pursuit efforts by running comprehensive visioning workshops, assessing the client's current technical state, meticulously mapping business goals to viable technical roadmaps, and designing innovative, scalable solutions.

- Demonstrate strong, hands-on capability in driving complex integrations across heterogeneous systems while consistently maintaining a strategic architectural view.

- Possess strong expertise in modern CMS platforms, including Sitecore, Contentful, Optimizely, Content stack, and other leading Digital Experience Platforms (DXP).

Mentorship, Incident Management, and Quality Assurance :

- Serve as a mandatory mentor and coach for regional architects, fostering a vibrant culture of technical excellence, accountability, and knowledge sharing.

- Provide effective incident response and governance, swiftly resolving real-time challenges and escalations.

- Critically analyze operational escalations, translating immediate fixes into long-term, sustainable improvements that strengthen architectural quality and build future-ready capabilities.

- Utilize expertise in bridging high-level architectural leadership with hands-on technical problem-solving.

- Demonstrate highly collaborative and strong interpersonal skills essential for engaging effectively across diverse geographies, business functions, and client organizations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience: Mandatory 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, and modern digital platforms.

- Core Expertise: Proficient in Cloud & DevOps, microservices, composable DXP architectures, headless CMS, and AI/automation-led transformation.

- Platform Knowledge: Strong expertise in modern CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Contentful, Optimizely, and Content stack.

- Leadership: Proven ability to act as a mentor and influencer, empowering and uplifting regional architecture teams.

- Governance: Experienced in incident management and governance, with the ability to swiftly resolve challenges and implement sustainable fixes.
