Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Bench Sales Lead with strong hands-on exposure in US IT staffing. The right person should have solid knowledge of US visa types (H1B, OPT, CPT, GC EAD, L2, TN, etc.) and a proven track record of successfully placing H1 transfers and other consultants. This role requires someone who stays connected with consultants, understands their project timelines, and ensures smooth redeployment well before project completion.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Take complete ownership of bench sales and marketing activities for consultants across different visa types.

Stay in constant touch with consultants on projects to track end dates and start marketing them proactively to reduce bench time.

Manage and coordinate H1 transfers and other visa candidates in coordination with internal teams.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with prime vendors, implementation partners, and direct clients to secure project opportunities.

Actively market bench candidates through vendor lists, job portals, and client networks to achieve faster placements.

Ensure smooth consultant transitions between projects, handling all necessary onboarding and compliance steps.

Work closely with the internal team to track submissions, interviews, and placements, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Maintain updated reports on all bench activities — submissions, interviews, placements, and revenues.

Guide and support the bench sales team with strategies, feedback, and follow-ups to improve overall conversion rates.

Keep track of key metrics such as bench utilization, number of placements, time to redeploy consultants, and revenue generated — and drive consistent improvement in each.

Maintain strong relationships with consultants to ensure retention and satisfaction throughout their assignments.
