We build tools and services for new Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies that operate at high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Our mission is to give our customers best-in-class DevOps services to manage their code, build and deployments within OCI. We're looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in building DevOps platforms for our customers. We want to make DevOps a pleasant experience for our customers
Responsibilities
As a Senior Member of Technical Staff or Principal Member of Technical Staff, you will participate in the design and development of Oracle's DevOps Services. You should be a rock solid coder and have passion to learn new technologies. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with application development using Java Microservices, Docker/Podman, Kubernetes & Public Cloud
- Proficient at programming in Java, and one other major programming/scripting language like Python or Go Lang.
- Strong distributed systems fundamentals
- Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering or related engineering fields
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong distributed systems fundamentals
- Terraform experience
- Prior development experience with DevOps in a Public Cloud (like AWS, Azure or GCP) tools or services
- Masters degree in Computer Science
