General Manager Engineering (Extrusions & FRP)
Location: Dabaspet, Karnataka
Role Objective:
To lead and manage all engineering, maintenance, and project activities for the Extrusions and Flat Rolled Product (FRP) divisions, ensuring maximum uptime, operational efficiency, and long-term asset reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead plant engineering, maintenance, utilities, and CAPEX project execution.
- Plan preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure zero breakdowns.
- Oversee electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation teams.
- Evaluate equipment performance and identify upgrade opportunities.
- Drive automation, energy conservation, and safety initiatives.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and planning for operational excellence.
- Manage engineering budgets, vendors, and contracts.
Profile Requirements:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering.
- 15–20 years of experience in plant engineering or projects in aluminium, steel, or process manufacturing industries.
- Proven expertise in handling extrusion presses or rolling mill systems.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
