The Director of Strategy and Operations is a core manager responsible for the company's strategic planning and operational execution. They are fully responsible for the company's medium- and long-term strategic formulation, annual operational planning, organizational coordination, and performance management.

This position requires both strategic thinking and practical execution capabilities, enabling the transformation of macro-strategic goals into actionable business initiatives.

Through the construction of a scientific operational system, they drive efficiency improvement and sustainable growth for the company.

Core Responsibilities:

I. Strategic Planning and Management

Lead the formulation of the company's medium- and long-term strategic planning and annual business objectives, ensuring alignment with the company's overall direction;

Participate in market environment, competitive landscape, and industry trend analysis to identify strategic opportunities and potential risks;

Organize strategic seminars to assist the senior management team in making strategic decisions;

Drive the decomposition and implementation of the company's strategy across departments, ensuring measurable and traceable strategic execution;

Regularly review the strategy implementation status and adjust and optimize strategies to respond to market changes.

II. Operational Coordination and Implementation

Translate company strategic goals into operational plans and execution paths, and monitor the implementation of the annual business plan;

Establish standardized operational processes and management systems to improve execution efficiency and collaboration;

Coordinate cross-departmental operational activities across sales, marketing, product, supply chain, and finance to ensure goal alignment;

Establish an operational data analysis system to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement;

Optimize organizational structure and resource allocation to ensure the flexibility and efficiency of corporate operations.

III. Performance Monitoring and Business Analysis

Establish a company KPI/OKR system to promote the quantification and tracking of departmental performance targets;

Regularly analyze company operational and financial data to provide management with decision support and improvement suggestions;

Identify business bottlenecks and potential risks, and develop operational optimization and cost control plans;

Organize and lead quarterly and annual business review meetings to evaluate the results of strategy implementation;

Promote lean operations and a culture of continuous improvement.

IV. Project Management and Coordination

Lead the planning, implementation, and supervision of key strategic projects to ensure they achieve their intended goals;

Establish cross-departmental project management mechanisms to improve collaboration efficiency and transparency;

Supervise enterprise-level transformation and restructuring projects (such as digital transformation, organizational optimization, and process reengineering);

Provide management with project execution reports and performance analysis;

Facilitate inter-organizational communication to ensure the integrated advancement of strategic projects.

V. Innovation and Business Development Support

Promote the identification and evaluation of new business models, product innovation, and strategic cooperation opportunities;

Support senior management participation in investment and M&A, partner expansion, and market layout;

Provide decision support for company business expansion through strategic research and market insights;

Promote the application of data-driven and intelligent tools to optimize strategic and operational decisions;

Establish a strategic innovation mechanism to stimulate organizational innovation and competitive advantage.

VI. Team Building and Leadership Development

Lead the strategy and operations team, clarifying goals, division of labor, and performance evaluation mechanisms;

Cultivate collaboration and innovation capabilities across functional teams, establishing a culture of high-efficiency execution;

Promote team learning and knowledge management, enhancing the organization's overall strategic and analytical capabilities;

Develop high-potential talent, building a multi-skilled team with strategic thinking and operational capabilities;

Create a proactive, pragmatic, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

Education Background

Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field;

Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA, EMBA, or strategic management background.

Work Experience

Over 20 years of experience in corporate strategic planning or operations management, including over 8 years of middle to senior management experience;

Previously worked in strategy and operations management at large enterprise groups, consulting firms, or multinational corporations;

Experience in cross-departmental collaboration, complex project management, and organizational change;

Preference will be given to candidates with successful experience in driving corporate strategy implementation and improving operational efficiency.

Professional Skills

Proficient in strategic analysis tools (SWOT, Porter's Five Forces, BCG matrix, etc.) and operational management methodologies;

Familiar with enterprise business analysis, budget management, and performance appraisal systems;

Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.);

Possesses excellent project management skills and is familiar with methodologies such as PMP, OKR, and Agile;

Able to balance macro-strategic thinking with micro-execution details.
