Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Boiler & Turbine Operations Engineer to manage and optimize the performance of steam generation systems and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in boiler operations, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage Boiler, Steam Turbine, and Balance of Plant systems.
  • Execute startup, shutdown, and emergency procedures, including blackouts and grid tripping.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and ensure optimal performance of equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and manage boiler water chemistry.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols (PTW, LOTO, HIRA, JSA, HAZOP).
  • Prepare SOPs, incident reports, and regulatory compliance documentation.
  • Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor system performance and prepare DPR/MPR reports.
  • Train and mentor team members; manage inventory and defect registers.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and 5S methodology.

Required Competencies:

  • Technical: Boiler Operation Engineering, Process Optimization, Safety & Compliance, Root Cause Analysis, Technical Documentation
  • Behavioral: Problem Solving, Leadership, Communication, Decision Making, Adaptability

Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Certification in Boiler Operation preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in power plant operations or a similar industrial setup.
