Position : Shift-Incharge (Production)

Plant Location : Dahej, Bharuch (Gujarat)
Industry : Chemical Manufacturing Plant
Location: Dahej
- Supervise and lead a team of operators, technicians, and other personnel on the shift. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team members perform at their best.
- Manage and coordinate all production activities on the shift. Ensure that production schedules are met, and that production processes are carried out efficiently.
- Monitor the quality of chemical products throughout the manufacturing process. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to meet product specifications.
- Enforce and promote safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), chemical handling procedures, and emergency response protocols. Conduct safety audits and incident reporting.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of equipment and machinery used in chemical production. Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as industry-specific regulations related to chemical manufacturing.
- Monitor and control chemical inventory levels. Coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of raw materials and chemicals required for production.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including production reports, safety records, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Address and resolve issues that arise during the shift, including equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and personnel matters.

**Experience and Qualification**
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a chemical manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of chemical processes, safety protocols, and regulations
- Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment and process issues.
