**Plant Operator - Nitration Process**

**Location**: Dahej
**Industry**: Chemical / Specialty Chemical / Pharma
**Experience**: 2-5 Years
**Qualification**: ITI / Diploma (Chemical) / B.Sc Chemistry

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate nitration reactors and related equipment as per SOPs.
- Charge raw materials, solvents, and acids safely into the reactor.
- Monitor process parameters: temperature, pressure, flow rate, etc.
- Perform batch operations, sampling, and maintain logbook entries.
- Handle hazardous chemicals like nitric acid & sulfuric acid safely.
- Coordinate with DCS Operator / Shift In-charge during operations.
- Ensure proper cooling, agitation, and reaction control.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE usage, and maintain housekeeping.
- Report any abnormalities or equipment issues immediately.
- Support maintenance activities during breakdowns and shutdowns.

**Skills & Knowledge Required**:

- Experience in **Nitration process** is mandatory.
- Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling.
- Ability to operate pumps, valves, reactors, scrubbers, etc.
- Understanding of DCS/SCADA system (added advantage).
- Ability to follow SOPs and batch records.
