Key Responsibilities-

Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop detailed project schedules (baseline, master, and micro-level) using tools such as Primavera P6 / MS Project.
  • Prepare construction sequencing plans in coordination with design, procurement, and execution teams.
  • Establish milestones, work breakdown structures (WBS), and activity logic.

Monitoring & Control

  • Track project progress against the baseline schedule and highlight delays or deviations.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
  • Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor critical path activities and resource deployment.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Facilitate planning review meetings and ensure timely decision-making.
  • Support statutory and approval-related timelines in coordination with liaison teams.

Cost & Resource Planning Support

  • Assist in budget tracking, cash flow forecasting, and cost control in collaboration with QS/Commercial teams.
  • Plan and monitor manpower, machinery, and material schedules.
  • Support procurement planning and long-lead item tracking.

Risk & Delay Management

  • Identify potential risks impacting project timelines and prepare mitigation plans.
  • Analyze claims, delays, and extensions of time (EOT) related to planning aspects.
  • Maintain planning documentation for audits and management reviews.

MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare dashboards, S-curves, look-ahead schedules, and management presentations.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of planning MIS shared with senior leadership.
