Job Title: Commercial Fit-Out Manager

Experience Required: 8–12 Years
Location: PAN India (Frequent Travel Required)
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and capable Commercial Fit-Out Manager to lead and deliver multiple commercial interior fit-out projects across India. The role demands strong technical knowledge, project management expertise, and the ability to coordinate complex fit-out works from inception to handover. The ideal candidate must have experience in commercial projects, vendor management, budgeting, and be willing to travel PAN India.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead and manage multiple commercial fit-out projects simultaneously across different locations.
  • Develop project timelines, work schedules, and resource allocation plans.
  • Ensure all works are executed in line with approved GFC drawings, design intent, and specifications.
  • Track daily site progress, identify gaps, and implement timely corrective actions.

Technical & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to National Building Code (NBC), fit-out guidelines, safety standards, and local building regulations.
  • Review drawings, BOQs, method statements, and material submittals for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with consultants, architects, and technical teams to resolve design or site issues.

Vendor Management, Procurement & Budgeting

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage contractors, vendors, and suppliers for efficient project delivery.
  • Conduct vendor negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, quality deliverables, and optimal timelines.
  • Support procurement planning and have a strong understanding of material costs, budget control, and cost-saving measures.
  • Review contractor quotations, validate scope, and ensure alignment with project budgets.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, contractors, and consultants.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings and share timely reports and updates.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication to manage expectations and ensure smooth execution.

Quality, Safety & Site Management

  • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and safety protocols at site.
  • Perform regular inspections, snag checks, and ensure closure within agreed timelines.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure deliverables meet contractual and quality standards.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of commercial interior fit-out works, materials, and industry standards.
  • Hands-on understanding of NBC, statutory norms, and corporate fit-out guidelines.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously and deliver within tight schedules.
  • Strong vendor negotiation and procurement awareness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, Excel, and reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively PAN India.

Preferred Background:

  • Prior experience in corporate office interiors, commercial workspace fit-outs, retail projects, or PMCs.
  • Track record of delivering mid to large-scale commercial fit-out projects successfully.
