Job Purpose: The Site Project Planning Manager - MUL is responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of power infrastructure projects by developing comprehensive project plans, optimizing resource allocation, and monitoring progress against timelines. The role drives project coordination, risk assessment, and stakeholder alignment to ensure seamless implementation and adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. It strengthens operational efficiency by tracking project milestones, mitigating potential delays, and ensuring cost-effective execution to support the expansion and reliability of power distribution within Mundra Utility Limited.C17:D29

Responsibilities

Site Project Planning Manager-MUL

Project Planning and Scheduling:

Ensure timely project execution by developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules (L1-L4), tracking progress, and identifying potential delays.

Optimize resource utilization by aligning manpower, equipment, and material requirements with the project timeline.

Enhance project efficiency by implementing catch-up plans and schedule compression techniques to mitigate delays.

Progress Monitoring and Reporting:

Maintain project transparency by tracking daily, weekly, and monthly progress, preparing status reports, and highlighting key risks to stakeholders.

Support data-driven decision-making by analyzing project performance metrics, flagging schedule variances, and recommending corrective actions.

Improve reporting accuracy by integrating project data into dashboards and ensuring alignment with management review processes.

Contract and Stakeholder Coordination:

Ensure contractual adherence by monitoring project milestones, tracking deliverables, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Strengthen cross-functional collaboration by coordinating with engineering, procurement, and site execution teams to align project schedules with operational needs.

Improve stakeholder engagement by facilitating periodic review meetings, addressing planning-related concerns, and ensuring schedule commitments are met.

Risk and Delay Management:

Minimize schedule risks by identifying potential bottlenecks, conducting risk assessments, and implementing mitigation strategies.

Ensure proactive issue resolution by coordinating with site teams to address Workfront constraints, resource shortages, and project execution challenges.

Support project continuity by developing alternative execution plans in response to unforeseen disruptions.

Resource and Cost Optimization:

Enhance cost efficiency by aligning project schedules with budgetary constraints, optimizing resource deployment, and tracking cost variances.

Prevent budget overruns by analyzing schedule impacts on cost, tracking productivity deviations, and ensuring corrective measures are implemented.

Improve forecasting accuracy by evaluating resource utilization trends and recommending adjustments to improve cost and schedule performance.

Technology Integration and Process Improvement:

Improve planning accuracy by leveraging project management tools (Primavera, MS Project) for schedule tracking and forecasting.

Enhance process standardization by implementing best practices in project planning, schedule optimization, and data-driven decision-making.

Strengthen digital integration by automating reporting workflows, ensuring seamless data synchronization, and enabling real-time project tracking.

Site Coordination and Execution Support:

Ensure smooth site operations by aligning daily work schedules with master plans, tracking site readiness, and mitigating Workfront delays.

Improve execution efficiency by coordinating with site engineers, ensuring timely availability of materials, and supporting field teams in schedule adherence.

Enhance project visibility by conducting site visits, assessing actual progress, and resolving scheduling conflicts in real time.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:
