CTC- 11k–12.5k

Working - 6 Days (9am to 5pm)

We are looking for a sharp and detail-oriented Backend Executive to support our Risk Analysis, Merchant Onboarding, Compliance, and Telemarketing operations. This role is critical to ensuring that merchant onboarding follows regulatory requirements, risk assessments are accurate, compliance is maintained, and telemarketing teams are supported with backend documentation and lead coordination.

The ideal candidate will have a background in fintech, payments, or banking, with strong knowledge of KYC norms, fraud detection, regulatory and backend operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Analysis & Compliance:

Conduct risk profiling of new merchant applications based on business category, transaction pattern, and KYC documents

Evaluate high-risk merchants (e.g. adult, gaming, crypto, etc.) based on internal policies and regulatory norms

Monitor transactions to identify suspicious or fraudulent activity

Maintain risk logs and reports; escalate high-risk cases to the compliance/risk team

Ensure merchants comply with RBI and PCI DSS guidelines

Merchant Onboarding (KYC & Verification):

Review merchant KYC and business documents for completeness and authenticity

Validate GST, PAN, bank account details, and legal entity information

Coordinate with sales/telemarketing teams for missing documentation or clarifications

Update CRM and internal systems with merchant onboarding status and documentation

Telemarketing Support (Backend):

Handle backend documentation and data support for the telemarketing team

Assign leads to sales representatives and track progress in CRM

Follow up on leads for document collection and status updates

Generate daily/weekly lead and conversion reports

Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain accurate logs of onboarding, risk reviews, and compliance status

Generate MIS reports for internal teams and management

Assist in audit preparation and compliance reviews

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce Equivalent Business, Finance, or a related field

0-1 years of experience in backend operations, preferably in fintech, payment gateways, or BFSI sector

Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM systems

Excellent documentation, coordination, and follow-up skills

Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail

Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a payment gateway, NBFC, or regulated fintech company

Familiarity with tools like Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, or banking portals

Understanding of basic payment APIs and transaction flows
