The Application Specialist will be responsible for providing technical expertise, product application guidance, and project support for customers and internal teams related to single-use assemblies used in biopharmaceutical and bioprocessing applications. The role bridges product knowledge, customer requirements, and manufacturing capabilities to ensure successful deployment of single-use systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for single-use assemblies including tubing, filters, bags, connectors, and custom-configured systems.

  • Collaborate with customers to understand process requirements and recommend optimal single-use solutions.

  • Support the sales team with technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.

  • Generate and review technical drawings, specifications, and proposals for customized single-use systems.

  • Manage and support customer projects from design through delivery, ensuring timelines and specifications are met.

  • Provide technical training for internal teams (Sales, Quality, Manufacturing) and external customers.

  • Interface with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure feasibility of custom solutions.

  • Assist in root-cause analysis and resolution of customer complaints or product issues.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards (e.g., BPOG, USP, EU, PDA guidelines) and trends in bioprocessing technology.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for products and internal processes.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc or B.Tech in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Bioprocessing, or a related technical field.(Master's Degree or additional certifications are a plus.)

Experience:

  • 0–2+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, single-use technologies, bioprocess engineering, or technical sales support.

  • Basic knowledge of bioprocessing workflows (e.g., upstream, downstream, final fill).

  • Experience with design, qualification and implementation of SUS will be a plus

  • Basic understanding of GMP/GDP and regulatory expectations in biopharma.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong technical communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Ability to read and review technical drawings (CAD designer team available).

  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Familiarity with quality standards and validation will be a plus (e.g., E&L

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹175, ₹450,000.00 per year
