In one sentenceResponsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows servers and managing identity, access, and backup systems to ensure secure and reliable IT operations in a telecom broadband fiber environment.
What will your job look like?Key Responsibilities:
• Server Management:
o Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and related infrastructure.
o Apply patches and updates to ensure system stability and security.
• Identity & Access Control:
o Implement and manage Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and security groups.
o Enforce role-based access controls and compliance with telecom security standards.
• Backup & Recovery:
o Schedule regular backups and test disaster recovery plans.
o Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Help Desk Support:
o Provide Level 2 support for escalated issues from desktop operations.
o Troubleshoot server-related problems and assist with application deployments.
• Monitoring & Reporting:
o Monitor server performance, storage, and security logs.
o Prepare reports on uptime, backup status, and incident resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certifications: MCSA/MCSE, ITIL Foundation (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in system administration and help desk support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
• Familiarity with telecom OSS/BSS systems and compliance standards.
