A Senior Project Manager in construction oversees large and complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are finished on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Key responsibilities include developing project plans, managing budgets and schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. The role often involves mentoring junior staff and ensuring all site activities comply with safety and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee and direct all phases of construction from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth workflow.
  • Budget and Financial Management:
  • Monitor and control project costs, track expenditures, and manage change orders.
  • Review and verify invoices, applications for payment, and ensure overall fiscal management of projects.
  • Implement cost-saving measures where possible.
  • Risk Management and Quality Control:
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures, conduct site inspections, and ensure adherence to project specifications and building codes.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with safety rules and regulations.
  • Stakeholder and Team Management:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to manage expectations and keep them informed.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, including junior project managers, supervisors, and other staff.
  • Resolve disputes and conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Oversight and Reporting:
  • Monitor project progress and performance against the established schedule and budget.
  • Prepare and manage project reports.
  • May participate in long-range planning and administrative functions within the department.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
