Assistant Manager - Debt Management Services - Mortgages 

Job Purpose 

The Debt Management Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating the recovery of overdue payments on loans or credit accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities- Legal recovery for urban NPLWheels (Vehicle Finance)
- Legal management, litigation, and case management
- Compliance and risk mitigation
- Reporting and documentation
- Achieve collections target by visiting customers/agencies
- Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates
- Ensure legal guidelines are complied with during repossession of products
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Provide regular reports on collection activities and performance
- Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues
- Daily DRR (Daily Risk Report) management
- Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates
- Empanelment with DCAs / hiring DCAs
- Case-to-case tracking
- Resolution as per AOP within agreed timelines
- Portfolio management
- Debt collection strategy
- Target achievement
- Regulatory compliance
- Reporting and analysis

- Coordinating with internal and external clients

Required Qualifications and Experience- Experience in legal recovery for urban NPLWheels (Vehicle Finance)
- Expertise in legal management, litigation, and case management
- Strong knowledge of compliance and risk mitigation practices
- Experience in reporting and documentation
- Track record of achieving collections targets by visiting customers/agencies
- Ability to monitor performance and provide regular updates
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for repossession of products
- Proven ability to maintain accurate records of customer interactions
- Reporting on collection activities and performance
- Effective in handling escalations and issue resolution
- Daily DRR management experience
- Strategic thinker with ability to improve collection rates
- Experience in empanelment and hiring of DCAs
