About Position / Position Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Associate Data Analyst to join our Technology Governance and Optimization team to support Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) asset management. This role acts as a primary point of contact for asset data updates and corrections, collaborates with cross-functional teams to validate and maintain asset records in ServiceNow, and supports IT and OT asset-related audits. It plays a critical role in coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that asset information is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with organizational policies.

This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India.

Position Responsibilities:

• Ensure asset records are accurate and kept current in the asset management system.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for all hardware asset data updates and corrections.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to create, update, and modify IT and OT hardware assets in ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine the required fields of IT and OT assets within ServiceNow.
• Take ownership of validating asset records, ensuring accurate status updates from in-stock to deployed.
• Work closely with the TAM team and other stakeholders to respond to user queries related to IT and OT assets.
• Coordinate with the HR team to collect onboarding and terminated user lists and validate corresponding IT asset records.
• Participate in IT and OT asset audits conducted by the TAM team.
• Manage the harvesting of software licenses from users existing with the organization.
• Liaise with IT technical teams across various locations for asset disposal and ensure updates are reflected in the asset database.
• Provide training to IT technical team members on proper asset entry procedures in ServiceNow.
• Maintain awareness of CMDB processes and collaborate with the CMDB team to help ensure CI data aligns with asset records, supporting accurate tracking and reporting

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Technology Asset Management processes and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with more than 4 years of experience in Technology Asset Management.
• Proficient in IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, particularly ServiceNow.

Typical Education & Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 4 Plus years' related work experience or master's degree with 3+ years of experience with an equivalent combination of education and experience
